I am a first time "stud" owner as my boy will be two in April. He is learning barn manners, started under saddle and is doing well. My question is, when do you normally send your stallions off for his breeding soundness exams. I understand about waiting (we have no desire to breed before 5yrs of age) but I have heard of two yr olds being tested to the "really well preserved". LOL Any info is greatly appreciated as we are going to campaign him as a two yr old this year and hopefully do well with him. He was well worth the wait as we have searched well over 6 yrs for "the right one" to come along to compliment our little band of mares. Thank you in advance.
