My mare is 3 years old, yesterday I noticed some yellow thick snot comming out the right side of her nose but she acted normal. Today it is much worse, and she was dragging her back right leg, and when she moves she is very slow, she turns her head sideways almsot like she can't see out of the right eye. But I know she can becasue I walked up on that side and she turned her head towards me. Temp is 100.2 she is eating but very slow. I called the vet and they said to bring her in the morning. I am just wondering is this just a bad cold, has anyone had a problem with this before? please any help would be great.
I have never had this problem before but, it sounds like more than just a bad cold. I hope you horse is feeling better soon and that it is nothing too bad. Good Luck
