I have a mare that is around 17 years old and she has never had a foal. I also have a 16 month old stud colt, who ive had sence Nov. last year. They have seperate stall but are turned out in a pasture in the afternoons. They have never been intrested in eachother, plus he has only dropped one testicle. I have noticed that she is looking larger than her usual hay belly. Also in front of her udders looks larger that usual, I've been reading and I think thats called "bagging up" am I right? This is our first baby how can I tell how far along she is? Please help!

If you are concerned about her being pregnant I would encourage you to have a vet check her. It would well be worth the cost to see if she is and to attempt to assess where she is in her pregnancey if she is.
