I have an orphan foal that is just a week old today. His mother died the day after he was born of a ruptured uterine artery. He was able to get a good 24 hours of nursing in. I am in Wilson, NC and could use any help in my search. Tomorrow we are getting him a goat to stimulate him and get him to move around (he is getting lazy).

My mare just lost her filly today. Her filly was 4 days old and died from a Maconiem blockage that we could not loosen. My mare is a 2002 appaloosa mare. This was her 2nd foal. She has quite a bit of milk.

My mare just foaled today and had a healthy colt. Unfortunately, my mare has lymphoma and is in possible need of colic surgery to save her life. This seems unreasonable to put her through the colic surgery only to have her die from the lymphoma in a few months. The vets have already recommended removing the foal from her whether or not I send her for surgery. I'm located near Pittsburgh, PA.

6-20-07 I just obtained an unregistered TB mare that lost a foal 2 days ago. I am willing to sell this mare, if someone wants her now. 615-274-2578.
