Cathy, we are keeping you in our thoughts! I lost a mare foaling 2 years ago and had an orphaned colt but thanks to some people I found out about through the grapevine, they had a granny mare that had lost her filly 2 days before and she ended up raising our colt. We now own the mare and she has a 2 week old healthy filly at her side. I wish you and your mare good luck, it is hard for both. What town do you live in, because I am in the 417 area code also. I was just wondering how close we are- I live outside of Ozark.
