How do you figure foundation breed? Is there someone that can figure it for me? I have no idea how, and I would like to know what my new mare is? Any help would be great.

thanks

These are the 2 registries in North America. They have a few differences in their requirements for registraion. Mostly they involve the % of TB allowed and HYPP positive horses.

Thanks Cathy. We have 3 Quarter Horses and 4 Paints in our current breeding herd and I have been thinking about looking into what the foundation registry was all about.

My horses are NFQHA. Seems they are more strict on their lines. Their shows are a lot different then AQHA. They dont care if your horses have scares or ware wounds and they prefure you not have alot of silver.
I think its $10 to see what your horses % is. We even have two foundation sales down here for foundation breeders.

Thanks again. I am currently looking into it but I live in Canada and right now there are no foundation shows anywhere nearby that I am aware of.
