My friend has just bought a young tb x welsh and my forst instinct whn I saw him was that he was Strawberry roan, and she seemed to call him a roan but the woman sold him to her as iron grey. H is grey and some areas on the face, rump and legs but roan in others - He has recently had a freezemark done and there he is iron grey looking - does that mean he will grey out all over no doubt

Did the seller tell your friend what color the parents are. That would give a real clue. It sounds though like her is going grey
