I've got a great all around mare thats papers got lost in time before I got her. But I do know she came from a large breeding range in North Dakota. She is 9 years old. Bay pinto with a nice big blaze, white legs and large bay markings throughout her mid section. She is a looker. 15.3 and looks 100% Quarter. Her temperment it to die for which is why I have decided to breed her this May. I have picked out a Reg.}} QH Blue Roan Roping/Cutting Stud that has a strong roan gene in him. This is his first year breeding so it is unknown what he is going to produce. This is such a hard prediction. ANY IDEAS on what coloring/markings I may get out of this pair?
It all depends if these horses are homo- or heterozygous for roan, pinto, agouti, etc. If you knew the answer this would greatly narrow down what possible colors your foal could be.
