Ok I don't know if anyone on the forum is big in to colors and genetics or not but I have a color question. I'm big on the genes and know about the color and I'm a little lost on my Monty.

Monty comes from two black parents and with the tobaino gene so we know that he is homozgus for toby as both parent are. And he is black in color but here is the part I'm lost at. He has rings around his eye that are white it reminds me of a horse that is going to go grey but he has no grey in him. What gene does this? I will take pictures tomorrow or I will see if I have one to that show it.

He is my upcoming stallion I want to know all I can about his color I 99.9% sure that he is homozgus for Toby gene and mostly black but those ring are throwing me off .

yep, sabino... most of our Tobiano Gypsy Cobs look like old ladies or men because of it LOL, just the sabino expression I would say.

Diane, who is your stallion?
