I have a palomino sabino mare with blue eyes who I shall cover with a chestnut stallion what are the chances of the blue eyes recouring?

Not sure but I would say 50/50

I have heard that blue eyes are actually connected with the splashed gene, if the foal inherits this gene from the dam (50% chance) then there is also a good chance the foal will have blue eyes.

Blue eyes are a commonality for sabinos, i have a maximum white who has a full glacier blue eye and a half brown half blue eye. So in the end either brown or blue eyes will be achieved.
