My Brown Tobiano mare is bred to my Black Overo. She is sired by a Tobiano out of a minimal overo. Sire is sired by a red roan overo out of a solid black mare. Mares sire is brown, dam is chestnut. Wondering what my color/pattern percentages are? Anyone.....
The pic of the filly is pretty small and hard to tell, but she sure doesnt look buckskin. She would have a black mane and tail and black points with a golden body if buckskin. What color was the mare before she greyed out? She would have to carry a dilute gene to produce a dilute baby out of the solid red stud.
Can't tell you what the current breeding will produce without knowing what the mare is genetically...what her parents were, etc. Looks like she might produce either red, black, or bay depending on her genetics. The stud will only carry red...cant see any dun characteristics on him either, but that could just be the picture you used?
