I want to send a mane hair sample to US Davis for genetic testing of Bay and black homozygousity. I have tried to email a few times to get this import permit as I am in Canada and have to send hair across the border. Has any Canadian horseowner been through this and if so, can you tell me how it was done.
I have been in email contact with a lady at Davis who emailed me a copy of this permit which was filled out and told me to print it off and send it attached to the outside of the envelope. THe problem was.. its not blank..... I looked on the Department of Agriculture website for a downloadable blank of this form but cant find it in all the forms listed..... is it really that hard to get this done????
