He will be 2 in April of 2007. The guy who bred him said his dam was a paint and sire was a 17+ hand draft. He's about 14.3-15 hands now. He was a little underweight when I got him, but I've got him back up to about where he should be now, with feeding free choice hay w/ some alfalfa and a feed for growth. It seems to me like he should be taller than he is now, especially having draft in his breeding. He has a good amount of bone and fairly large feet. How big are everyone elses yearlings? Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I can't help but think I'm going to end up with a not-so-tall horse here. Any ideas? Thanks!
