Of course, its a little more costly but not much (AV/bottle liners pretty cheap) and you have to consider your time. The only thing I re-use is my glass cylinder for measuring. I wash it with dish soap and water and rinse well then pour boiling water for the final rinse. Some people use alcohol rinse. Slides can be washed just with hot water since they don't have to be sterile. I dont re-use syringes although you could. I feel that mare owners spend alot of money and deserve the best. You can factor it in to your collection fee. Some farms charge $200 for collection? That seems excessive to me. This is just the way I do it. I guess it depends on how many collections you are doing.
