View details about stallions standing at the Equine-Reproduction.com stallion station

In addition to its other services, Equine-Reproduction.com LLC also offers a stallion station service at its facility in Oklahoma, where breeding stallions may be boarded for the breeding season, or permanently. Stallions can have semen collected and shipped from the facility, including to Canada (currently under CEM restrictions for semen importation from the USA). Stallions live out in approximately 1/3 acre pastures with shelters and trees offering shade and protection from the weather. Large bales of hay are provided to ensure the potential for continual grazing (which is healthier for horses), although custom hay is also provided where needed. Horses are grained twice daily (or more if required) using Buckeye feeds. The stallion paddocks are adjacent to each other, separated by a minimum of 12' aisleways, and the fencing is 5-strands of electrified "White Lightning" from Centaur (although it's actually brown and black in colour) or Centaur Flex-Fence.

Our laboratory is well equipped with high technology equipment and supplies, enabling us to ship the best quality semen available from the resident stallions, or from stallions visiting for semen collection and processing. Semen can be shipped 7 days a week (M-F by courier or airline counter-counter; Sat. and Sun. by airline only). The only exception is if there is a specific reason related to semen quality or the health of the stallion (e.g. an older stallion that does not have adequate sperm production for a daily shipment). All shipments are evaluated using our Hamilton-Thorne CEROS Computer Assisted Semen Analyser. All stallions standing at Equine-Reproduction.com LLC undergo a cooled semen evaluation at the beginning of every season to ensure that the semen being shipped has the potential to be the best quality when the mare-owner receives it.

We are often asked by mare owners "what do you charge for semen shipments from these stallion?". Below is an outline of the charges applied by Equine-Reproduction.com LLC for the collection, processing and shipment of cooled semen shipments from stallions standing at the Oklahoma facility.
We do not charge "chute fees", "stallion handling fees" or similar charges, which we consider to be unreasonable surcharges in excess of a charge already applied.

Charges for shipment within the Continental USA
Collection charge: $150
Equitainer deposit (refunded if the Equitainer is returned clean within 5 days - if credit card is used a "hold" is applied) - we do not charge a rental fee for the Equitainer: $300
Semen shipment courier fee: An estimated "base rate" will be $50 for the outgoing (overnight) shipment and $25 (ground) for the return shipment. To obtain an accurate estimate, go to UPS.com and create a shipment quote. Our Zip Code is 73098. The Equitainer dimensions are 18" x 11" x 11" with a weight of 12 lbs.
Additional Fees for Shipments to Canada
Note: Mare owner must obtain an import permit from CFIA, the original of which must be in our possession for "single shipment" permits, or a copy for "multiple shipment" permits prior to semen collection.
USDA Document Certification (at cost): $83
Same day courier charge for documents to and from USDA (these are then sent with the semen): $150
Semen shipment courier fee to Canada are charged at cost, but will be significantly greater than for shipment within the USA. Go to UPS.com and create a quote as described above.

2014 Stallions
(Details below are provided by the stallion owners)

Mitril

2008 Perlino Kinsky Czech Warmblood stallion
EVA Negative/Vaccinated Annually
Mitril is a young, up and coming imported Czech Warmblood Kinsky stallion. He successfully completed the 2013 North American 70 Day Stallion test, and we are proud to offer him to a select number of mares for his first year being offered at stud.

Mitril is a true athlete, always willing to work, has fabulous jumping form and very correct, balanced conformation.

Mitril is an excellent Czech bred Kinsky (20.31% Kinsky lines) stallion with a great performance pedigree. Along with his ability to produce golden offspring, he's got a temperament of gold and has a great work ethic!

In Dec 2013, Mitril successfully completed the 2013 70 Day North American Stallion Test with a very respectable score in an exceptionally tough group of phenomenal stallions! We are so proud of him, and all he accomplished at the test. He proved himself to have a phenomenal attitude, character and work ethic and remained sound, sane and happy during the incredibly difficult training and immense stress of the test. During the test he showed very correct form over fences with a brave approach and was always confident. He showed exceptional obedience and willingness in every aspect of the training (dressage, jumping and cross country), always maintaining very balanced gaits, rhythm and natural self carriage.

He was said to be one of the "easiest" horses at the stallion test, and that is testament to his uncomplicated and willing nature. Mitril is a true athlete, performance horse and willing partner, and we are confident he will pass those traits on to his future offspring!

Guy's First Down Fame

AQHA
2007 15hh Palomino Quarter Horse
HYPP nn HERDA NN GBED NN PSSM1 nn MH nn
Red/Black Factor - ee Agouti - AA Cream - nCr
"Reno'" is a stunning palomino stallion bred in the purple as far as Barrel Racing and speed event horses are concerned, and with legends such as Doc Bar, Docs Jack Frost, Three Bars, Driftwood and Joe Reed II - not to mention Frenchmans Guys * Dash Ta Fame in his bloodlines, I have the utmost confidence that his progeny will excel in most any chosen discipline required of them be it Barrel Racing, timed events, reining, cutting, campdrafting, halter or pleasure riding just to name a few.

With access to so many extremely well bred competitive "Studs" today - what sets them apart, what gives them that little bit more that makes you say "that’s the horse for my mare!"?

Temperament, Confirmation, Genetics, Presence, Athletic Ability, Colour & the overall look - Reno has all that and much, much more. Like an offered $10,000 paid outright to the owner of the winning progeny by Reno in their first year of competition (terms and conditions apply). And an added $5,000 Incentive for a foal by Reno that wins a nominated Futurity Event.

After searching for a stallion with that WOW factor for some years now, I had a small number of stallions on my list – but not so long ago I came across Reno on the Barrel Horse World website, and he blew them out of the water. I contacted the owner, and we chatted back and forth for a few weeks. Before making the financial commitment, I flew over to Oklahoma on my 6 days off between shifts to look at Reno and the rest is what we could now call history. What you see in the pictures is nothing compared to the horse in the flesh, he oozes presence and an apparent self-confidence as well as all the things I mentioned above. He has a big kind, quiet eye which is another thing I also like in a horse, and for me what sets some apart from others.

Belafonte d'Avalon

ISR Sportpony
ISR Sportpony
EVA Negative/Vaccinated Annually
Belafonte d'Avalon is the result of some of the best sport horse and sport pony breeding in the world. His dam, Mata Hari, is by our jumper stallion, Mannhattan and out of the pony mare, Idealiste. Idealiste was 14:1 hands tall, out of Kathy's endurance racing Anglo Arabian mare and by the Oldenburg stallion, Ideal. Belafonte's sire is the German Riding pony, Hilkens Black Delight. Hilkens Black Delight, a Weser-Ems stallion, won the 2005 Weser-Ems licensing and was the first pony ever to be invited to the Oldenburger Stallion's Parade where he received a standing ovation and was described as being "as close to perfection as possible". He was described by the licensing committee as the most stunning pony they had seen for at least 6 years since his sire, Branduardi M won the licensing. Belafonte is following in his father's footsteps in receiving similar praise for his outstanding conformation, movement and character.

Belafonte went on to fulfill his performance requirement by attending the 30 Day Pony Stallion Testing in October of 2010. He again wow'd the judges with his enthusiastic and "can do" attitude and successfully completed the testing with one of the highest scores ever awarded both in North America and in Europe.
