One-on-one Horse Breeding Training

While we are renowned for offering short courses on the subject of horse breeding worldwide, we not infrequently encounter people either at the courses or through our website who are in need of more specific one-on-one horse breeding training. Perhaps they do not own stallions but want to learn more about the reproductive aspects of mares and mare management; perhaps they already have the mare end of things “covered”, but have recently purchased a stallion that they now realise they know little about managing; or maybe they have owned stallions for years using live cover, but are now looking at expanding their market with the shipping of semen, about which they need more information. Whatever the need, with a wide variety of equipment, practical expertise and suitable animals with which to work in a hands-on environment, we can assist with furthering your knowledge and experience. It is our intent that attendees, through a combination of theory lectures and practical work performed on our horses, return home with an improved ability to manage the reproductive aspects of their own horses. Other One-on-one Horse Breeding Training Information
The above one-on-one horse breeding training modules consist of a combination of practical and theory. A portion of the day will be spent reviewing Power-Point® presentations, while the balance will be involving practical work either in the laboratory or with our own horses. Each day is a minimum of 6 hours. Lunch is included. Attendees will receive a copy of our short course notes, within which is material pertinent to the module they are attending (and much more!). These modules are not “cast in stone” and if we find – or you request – a focus on one or more specific areas to be required, we will accommodate that need! We want to offer you the maximal opportunity to learn what you need!

Each module – the mare, stallion or tailor-made – is $750 for the first person for one day, then $600 for each subsequent day. Additional persons associated with the primary subscriber may attend, up to a maximum of three, at half-price cost for each additional person. We do not recommend more than this number, as the “one-on-one” aspect tends be lost.  The standard modules are two days in duration. Instruction – as the name describes – is one-on-one, or in some cases you may have more than one instructor present! These are not “courses” in the standard definition, in that there will not be multiple attendees present. The only people present will be yourself and/or the rest of your own group. We do not book multiple groups for the same time frame. If you would like to send your staff or attend with some friends, group discounts may be applicable – please contact us to discuss those – or any other – options or needs.

We are located about 65 miles – primarily via Interstate – from Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City. The facility is 2¼ miles from exit 64 on I-35. There are hotels and restaurants within easy travelling distance to be found 3 exits north on I-35 (exit 72, Paul’s Valley) – note that we provide lunch each day, so there is no need to leave the facility during the day.
