Udder Question???

Postby marksrn98 » Sat May 11, 2013 11:11 pm

My mare is 335 days today and not sure whats going on with her udder...it got really big and tight last week then shrunk up a bit til earlier today, big and tight again...tonight it was looser but her teats are not filled in and I still can only get a few drops of clear to clear yellow fluid out. Question...is it possible that she could bag up with milk suddenly and have the foal tonight? She is not a maiden and has always bagged up and had fluid for a couple weeks before foaling before. Her udder also has pitting edema as well as her underbelly on both sides and in front of them. Worried she will pull a fast one on me :8: She's looking close in other areas and always foals close to 340 days usually
