Wee foal test

Postby PaintsnQH82 » Wed Nov 06, 2013 11:02 am

Hi,

Will the wee foal test read pregnant even with a false pregnancy? My mare was checked 3 times not in foal by our vet but I was not convinced since I know the mare very well and she never returned to heat after being bred. We did the wee foal 38 test around 45 or 50 days and it said she was pregnant. Now she would be 5 months along if pregnant and I just ordered the wee foal 120 test. Will the test read pregnant if its s false pregnancy or is it that the vet just missed the pregnancy? The mare is much larger now than she was a few weeks ago and she has a lopsided belly now. Thank you very much.

If you do a search for WeeFoal (all one word) in the search box above, you will find there are several threads discussing this test already. If they don't answer your question though, please post again!

Hope this helps.
