DHA for subfertile stallions anyone?

Postby lmacey1 » Tue Jan 06, 2015 1:17 am

Has anyone tried DHA/Omega3s (very high amounts of DHA of 10-30 GRAMS per day) to improve sperm quality in low concentration stallions? What product are you using? Magnitude was the product used in the study by Texas A & M, but it is fishy smelling, my stud hated it. He turned up his nose at Top Stud too. Platinum Paste was recommended by the Texas A&M docs, but it is over $30/per day to get 10 grams (yes 10,000 mg of DHA). My stud loves it because it tastes so good. Would love to find a product that is palatable and MUCH less expensive. I have been searching out the vendors. Any ideas?
Yes, I am going to take it much slower on adding it into his supplements. :)
